Letter from Santa

I was just finishing up these cute letters to my kids from Santa and thought I'd share a few things! (And if you can read the letter to my son, don't laugh. He desperately wants a pocket knife and I'm trying to hold off until he is 8 and starts scouts.) If you want to know parts I love about the letters here are some snippets (I gathered ideas from around the web and combined them into something I really loved!):

"I got your letter from your elf, (ELF ON SHELF NAME), about what you are wishing for this Christmas! (ELF ON SHELF NAME) also gave me a report on how you've been acting this month. I’ve watched you all year, but in December I get really busy, and that’s why I have (ELF ON SHELF NAME) help me out. She says you are (INSERT GOOD THINGS THEY'VE BEEN DOING) I was so happy to hear that, I know it can be hard sometimes, but don’t give up! If you make a mistake, fix it and keep going!"

"I want you to remember what Christmas is really all about, and that is the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. I know it pleases Him to see how hard you are trying to be like him! That is who you really need to please, and I”m sure you are!"

"I’m looking forward to visiting your new home in (LOCATION) this year! Mrs. Claus and the elves have been helping me get ready for the big day. We’ve been making toys, writing letters, giving the sleigh a tune-up, and exercising the reindeer so they’ll be ready to fly. I have a lot to do before I can deliver gifts to children all over the world, but I wanted you to know that you are on the nice list! You know what that means.. that you will be getting some very special gifts that you've been wishing for and also
some that I know you will love! Thank you for your suggestions for presents, I will do my best to bring you (INSERT PERSONAL TOUCH)"

"Be sure to leave the reindeer a healthy snack on Christmas Eve, they need the energy to fly all night long! (And you know I love cookies of any kind!) And don’t forget to say your prayer before bed on Christmas Eve and be thankful for all you have!"

Valentine's Tags

I thought I'd share the tags I quickly put together for my kids' Valentine's for school..

Jaxon, my son, picked bubbles and blow pops for his. So I made this tag for the bags.
If I don't have time to print at the shop, then I always try and put my stuff on a white background to limit the amount of ink I'm using from my printer. Plus I fit 12 on a page, so I only have to print 2 pages for his Valentine's. Then, to add color after they are cut out, I glue them to a colorful cardstock and cut them out again with the color cardstock showing. This makes it sturdier for being a tag and much cuter! :)

Abby, my daughter, picked little notebooks and pens for her Valentine's. And I wasn't feeling like being super creative and trying to figure out a play on the words pen, notebook, write, wrote, etc.. SOO here is just a generic tag that I stuck on hers. Which you could use for any treat bag. Again, gave it a cardstock backing and bam! cute cute cute..

Fav Birthday Parties

Here are some of my favorite birthday invites I've done..

A Dog Party for my daughter's 4th birthday. It was a blast! We rented a bounce house that had a dog on it. She is 1000% an animal lover, it was the perfect party for her. We also had a pet adoption for the kids. And they also got to become dogs themselves.

I love to go all out and do the invites, tags for the party favors, signs, customized pictures for parties. If you are interested in more than just the invite, just let me know!!

AMERICAN GIRL DOLL

I did this cute American Doll invite and cupcake toppers for a good friend..

 PRINCESS PARTY
I got the cutest clipart of princesses and that's why we decided to do a princess party for my daughter's 5th birthday. It was such a fun, cute party. She got treated on her birthday to a trip to the Disney Store to pick out a princess costume. She of course picked Cinderella~ but had to throw in Merida's bow and arrow :) I splurged on the cutest princess cake for her! And then we just had a candy bar.. it was so much fun!

I'm having anxiety right now because I cannot find the file from my son's 5th birthday party. We did Jake and the Neverland Pirates and it was ADORABLE! I only have pictures from the party and a started invite, but no finished product saved.. what the heck happened??? Grr.. Here is a few cute pics from his party and you'll have to imagine the cute invite...

We rented a small water park, after hours, and had it all to ourselves. It was so so so much fun! We played in the water, did water slides, a treasure hunt and cake! We have amazing family and friends come and support us at every party! This is a picture of everyone who is always there.. missing a few, but we sure always feel loved!!

For my son's 6th birthday we did a DIRT BIKE PARTY.. I cannot believe how much my little boy grew up in one year. This party was his best yet! My grandpa built ramps and jumps and we had all the kids bring their bikes! It was a blast!! We also had a snow cone shack. It was seriously awesome!

I have a TON more birthday invites I've done. It just takes time to make them safe for the web and post them. If you have a certain party in mind, just ask to see if I've done something like it before! I'd love to show you more of my work :)
